The new high school  rules for pole vault landing systems  include  the  requirement that hard surfaces between the vault box and the padded landing area be covered with a minimum  2" of high density foam.  The plant box collar pad takes care of this requirement.  Finished in 18 oz vinyl in yellow for maximum visibility.
